The Tennessee Chapter of The Naloxone Project was launched in January 2026

According to the most recently reported data Tennessee ranked 7th in the nation due to overdose per 100,000 people.

The Tennessee Chapter of The Naloxone Project was fortunate enough to receive a grant from the Tennessee Dept of Health providing access to naloxone and first aid kits for mothers following delivery. The program also delivers training and education to participating hospitals, physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and support staff. This training focuses on up-to-date harm reduction practices, overdose prevention, and reducing stigma associated with naloxone use so providers can better support patients and families.

The primary goals of the Tennessee Chapter are to increase awareness of overdose prevention statewide to all individuals.

The Naloxone project is grateful to be supported by TIPQC.
