Naloxone Kits Distributed

Industry Initiatives

The Naloxone Project Industry Initiatives focus on education, outreach, and access across various industries. Whether it's workers in the construction industry who are at high risk of workplace injuries or highway rest stops managed by the transportation industry, we aim to increase access to naloxone that is easy and secure.

The Workforce Initiative, currently operating in Wyoming, is the first of its kind at TNP. The vision is for every worker in high-risk industries to have the awareness, knowledge, and tools needed to respond to an overdose, and for every employer to be empowered with the knowledge and resources needed to address overdose risk in their industries.

The Transportation Initiative, based on amazing work done by the Missouri Chapter, aims to bridge the naloxone access gaps throughout the country. The transportation industry is a contact point for millions of people each year, some of whom need access to life-saving medication such as naloxone. We aim to partner with transportation departments and local partners to ensure naloxone is accessible in high-traffic areas.

Industry Initiatives give TNP the ability to support and expand our work beyond the health system by addressing the other sectors that require stable access to naloxone.
