The Naloxone Project
Ohio Chapter

The Ohio Chapter of the Naloxone Project has had notable successes so far and promising forward momentum! We have signed letters of support from the Ohio State Medical Association, Ohio Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians, Ohio Pharmacy Association, Columbus Medical Association, and Ohio American Society of Addiction Medicine. We have a solid supporter/sponsor in the Ohio Senate, Dr. Terry Johnson, and are excited to connect with him during the Senate’s active season. Garnering support from some larger institutions and opposing the established lobbying agencies have created a few barriers to the further development of the Ohio Chapter. Despite this, we have our sights set on expanding our partnership network and forging relationships with harm reduction organizations in Ohio.
